About Radiant Health

On leaving college, Liz Pentz was invited to the West Indies to work on a beautiful charter yacht.  As a stewardess, she was able to travel the Carribbean sea, and eventually became chef and first mate on other yachts in the West Indies. Also travelling the world on land, she was able to visit South America, the USA, Africa, Asia and Europe. During these travels Liz was able to experience many different cultures, and sample their foods, lifestyles and philosophies.

Several years ago Liz relocated to the Caribbean island of Puerto Rico, living at  La Casa Vida Natural, a grass roots health retreat on the edge of the rainforest. The retreat was the brainchild of Dr.Jane Goldberg, a New York psychoanalyst, author and health pioneer. Jane wanted to bring world health philosophies and techniques to La Casa, utilizing all the bounty of the island and the rainforest. Consequently, La Casa began to offer healthy living workshops; dynamic, intense weeks in which guests were taught about and experienced healthy eating and lifestyle. During her years at La Casa, Liz qualified as a yoga teacher with Sivananda International, a massage therapist with ITEC, and as a colonic therapist at the Ann Wigmore Institute for Living Foods. Spending time in New York at La Casa de Vida Natural NY day spa, Liz was able to attend many lectures and seminars with well known holistic and health speakers, including Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, Nancy Powers, and Gabrielle Roth.

On moving back to the UK, Liz chose to settle in North Shropshire, a peaceful, beautiful area with a vibrant alternative health community. Since giving birth to her children, Liz also decided to train as a midwife, and qualified in this art and skill in 2005. She currently works part time as a hospital based midwife.

The knowledge and experience Liz has gained over time is brought to Radiant Health, a colon hydrotherapy practice based on naturopathic principles, in Oswestry, North Shropshire, working alongside many of the area's top health, holistic and complementary therapists.
